This guide is still being prepared and has not been reviewed. It shows only the parts we can state with confidence. Check the official portal before relying on it.

Registering a property in Uttarakhand means recording the signed transfer document with the sub-registrar so that the transfer becomes part of the public record.

Steps

  1. Search the plot on Bhulekh by khasra or khata number and check the owner name.
  2. Check recent mutation and registry entries for that plot on Bhulekh.
  3. Look up your district's circle rate on the registration department site.
  4. Search the Online Encumbrance record on the e-registration search portal.
  5. Check the project on UKRERA if you buy from a builder.
  6. Sign the deed at the sub-registrar office and track mutation after registration.
