This guide is still being prepared and has not been reviewed. It shows only the parts we can state with confidence. Check the official portal before relying on it.
Registration in Odisha is done at the District Sub-Registrar or Sub-Registrar office through the e-Registration system, after a compulsory online slot booking. Biometrics of all parties are captured, and the registration office sends Form No. 3 to the Tahasil for mutation.
Definition
Section 22-A check: Under the Registration (Odisha Amendment) Act, 2013, the registering officer checks that the seller's right, title and interest flow from the record of rights; the IGR has clarified this covers RoRs under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1958 and earlier settlements.
